Partly dismantled in this shot is one-time Stewarts Lane and Nine Elms stalwart 'Battle of Britain' class 4-6-2 no. 34073, '249 Squadron'. The loco currently awaits restoration at the Mid Hants Railway.Previous | NextGWR 2-8-0T no. 4253 left Barry in August 1987 for storage at the Pontypool and Blaenavon Railway.
