A closer look at LMS 'Black Five' no. 45293 in June 1984.Previous | NextA significant inmate of Barry was LMS 'Jubilee' class 4-6-0 no. 45699 'Galatea', one of only four survivors of a class of 191. At one time thought to be beyond restoration, having had its centre driving wheels cut, the loco is now being restored at Carnforth.
