Boxpoc wheel. The BFB or 'Boxpoc' wheel was a feature of Bulleid locomotive designs, being both stronger and lighter than traditional spoked wheels. This is West Country class 4-6-2 no. 34046 'Braunton'.Previous | NextSR Merchant Navy class 4-6-2 no. 35009 'Shaw Savill' in June 1984. The loco was originally outshopped from Eastleigh in 1942 as SR no. 21C9 and was initially allocated to Salisbury.
