GWR 2-8-0T no.5227. 5227 was built at Swindon in June 1924 and spent the whole of its working life in South Wales being based for most of the time at Ebbw Junction Shed, Newport.Previous | NextA locomotive which was bound to go for preservation, Somerset & Dorset 2-8-0 no. 53809 on 16th August 1975.
