Doncaster-built LMS Stanier 8F 2-8-0 no. 48518, 1973. The loco has now donated its boiler to Didcot's project to recreate Hawksworth ‘County’ 4-6-0 no. 1014 ‘County of Glamorgan’. Previous | NextGWR 2-8-0T no.5227. 5227 was built at Swindon in June 1924 and spent the whole of its working life in South Wales being based for most of the time at Ebbw Junction Shed, Newport.
