GWR 2-8-0 no. 2885 at Birmingham Moor St. The loco is appropriate to this area, having spent time at Stourbridge and Tyseley sheds during its working career. The loco was withdrawn from Severn Tunnel Junction in 1963 and spent 17 years at Barry Scrapyard. 28th March 2007.

Standing outside Ropley shed, Mid Hants Railway, in August 1984 is 1899-built Drummond T9 no. 30120 displaying its British Railways livery. The T9s were constructed between 1899 and 1924 as an express passenger design.

Bluebell Railway Wainwright 'H' class 0-4-4T no. 263. Built as the standard loco for the SECR's suburban services, the H-class were a popular loco in later years for services on rural branch lines in Sussex.
